Kwality Instruments Endurance Test Bench is designed for electrical and mechanical endurance MCB and RCCB as per clause 9.11 of IEC 60898-1. The source and the load is designed to comply as per the general test conditions specified in Cl 9.11.1. The accompanying pneumatic fixture is designed to hold custom built designs of MCB and RCCB while the microcontroller based timer unit can be configure to follow test procedure summarized in Cl 9.11.2. In addition, the user can configure some other test settings with respect to the on time, off time as well as the number of test cycles.
The pneumatic test fixture is designed in such a way that the user can test MCBs of similar designs but having dimensions to a different degree. Thus, the test bench is ideal for test labs where MCBs of different brands (and hence different dimensions) can be tested. In addition, if the user is a MCB / RCCB / RCBO manufacturer, the fixture can be customized to hold more that one kind of circuit breaker.

GLOW WIRE TEST Apparatus is designed to carry out fire hazard testing as specified in IEC 60695-2-10 2000-10. Flammability test is to check the ‘Resistance to Fire’ of electrical insulators that touch directly conducting parts & also parts of insulators. Testing with regard to fire hazards can be done by creating exactly the conditions occurring in practice. However, this is not possible in most instances. Hence for this test, the actual conditions are simulated as closely as possible by the glow wire tester. This test is also referred in many other standards such as IS 11000, IS 3854 : 1997 / IS 1293 :1988 / IS 371 :1999 & IS 11000 Pt 2 Sec 1, IEC 60335, IEC 884/94, IEC 60598, IEC 61058, BS 6458, BS EN 60695 – 2-10,11,12.
